HastagNet – Governor of East Kalimantan (Kaltim), Isran Noor recounted once conveyed to President Jokowi, that Jokowi will go to heaven because he has moved the capital of the country.
The reason, because in the era of Jokowi’s leadership, the plan of the nation’s capital that had been proclaimed by three former presidents, was realized in Kaltim.
The three former presidents referred to isRan namely former President Sukarno, Suharto and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).
“That’s why I conveyed to Mr. Jokowi (president). Mas Jokowi, Mr. President, the father must have entered heaven. No more, you do worship,” said Isran Noor while giving a public lecture on the potential and sustainability of the nation’s capital at the University of Indonesia (UI), Jakarta, which was broadcast live through a zoom meeting, Wednesday (7/4/2021) reported by kompascom website.
Isran said that by moving the nation’s capital, Jokowi had realized the ideals of two deceased heads of state, Sukarno and Suharto.
“It means that Mr. (Jokowi) realizes those ideals,” said Isran.
For information, Sukarno planned the transfer of the nation’s capital to Palangka Raya, Kalteng, in 1965.
Suharto proclaimed jonggol area, Bogor, as the capital of the country. After sinking, in 2010 the discourse of the nation’s capital re-emerged after SBY offered the option of relocating the nation’s capital as a way to overcome congestion in the capital city of Jakarta.

Approximately one hour Isran Noor delivered public lecture materials in front of the Rector of UI, Prof. Kuncoro, deans and assistant deans and students who watched directly (offline) at the IASTH Building on the 5th floor of UI Campus, Salemba, Jakarta.

In his presentation, Isran conveyed the socioeconomic conditions in Kaltim as well as the strategic location of the area as the capital of the country.
